Seperate pages for items? Yes/No?[]

I mucked around a bit with the Wool Hat, the Business Card page, and the item infobox template, and I created the Louie's True Card redirect to Business Card which sadly got deleted.

As this game revolves around these items, I think it is warranted to have a page for each of these items, or in cases where a group of items share the same statistics like the True Cards a single page for the group, with a redirect for each item to the specific group page.

This allows users who are looking for details of a specific item to use the search box and find what they're looking for. Also it allows pages to be categorized, which helps people that are looking for all metal items, without the need for manually maintaining a list. AlexanderPas 03:15, September 15, 2010 (UTC)

I see what you mean... I'll restore Louie's True Card page then and create the other characters True Card pages with redirects to the Business Card page.

I think if we also copy the format from your Wool Hat page we could make a page for every item if you want!

I also like the categorizing idea, we can do that at the same time I guess. :)

I made it in such way already that a category from the type, and the items category already get added automagically.

I started creating some more Item pages, for the Longsword and the Steel Sword, I guess we can keep the template this way.

In the mean time, I'll be creating the cheapest item in every category (at least the ones that you get when you start a new game or I already have unlocked.)

Formatting pages[]

I'm fairly new to wikis, so i'm not that good at creating pages that look nice. I've added images and basic pages for all the bosses, and a list of bosses in Lapis Lazuli and Crystal Nightmare, but if anyone feels like making them look better or adding/rewording stuff feel free. I guess what i'm saying is I can give a lot of good information but I can't present it aswell as other people could :P

Well that's what a collaborative Wiki is for!

Don't sweat about it. ;) --Joshrl 06:13, September 16, 2010 (UTC)

Help with Arma boss level and maybe extend page?[]

Hey all, I'm going to be getting more involved in editting after exams I hope (noticed a range of details missing at points) but have a question for people and GameFAQ are set up in a way which means that I can't sign up up. It's also kinda relavent here in that we might want to be clearer on the relevant entry since I've not really been able to get that much help from it.

I've been pretty far through the game - I've got most level 4 limits, generally at a pretty high +number, can run crystal nightmare 11-20 pretty reliably and am looking at 21-30 and boss. The thing I can't do without a ridiculous expenditure in healing is beat arma on Lapis L50. With Cailou at L99 and with lots of L4 items equiped *and* with his health nearly doubled from ferromin I still can't do this reliably. I also can't find a video online of this being done and am finding this really frustrating because of needing items from that boss run. - Help?

Removing Description column from item lists[]

Proposal Remove the Description column in tables that list items under a category.

Argument[]

I think descriptions encumber the tables listing the respective items (ex:Daggers). The list should be a brief of the main attributes of each item that is easy to digest at a glance (ex:Swords). Description is just extra, and for that, one can visit the item's page itself and find it in the InfoBox.

Request[]

I need either (1) a higher rank to approve my intent or (2) more users to validate my intent.
