This is a chart pulled off a Google document page, but was created during the demo. From what I have tested, the percentages are true, but the near-pin percentages do not double when the price of an item is increased. The percentages may also be altered due to customer reputation increasing, and maybe even merchant leveling, as both could not be tested during the demo at high levels. The max EXP + rep section has so far always given me a near-pin bonus, and rarely a perfect pin bonus.

<nowiki>*</nowiki>In these columns, the percentage is the average max profit value, while the numbers in parentheses are the range of values observed. For example, sometimes you won't be able to go higher than 126% with the Man, and some other times, you'll be able to go up to 134% with the same Man. When there's nothing in parentheses, I didn't have enough data.

Note: There are actually 2 percentages that will give the near-pin bonus (the just bonus as well?). The first is at the 100-104% range for all customers while the second is near their max profit percentage (in the case that they have a max, for ex I've never found a max for the man or guildmaster).

Spoiler warning!
This article contains detailed information about the background mechanics of the game.

There are editable print-friendly tables here.

The perfect pin bonus has to be within the exact 0.X% of the price. Ex: if something cost 100k, and for a pin bonus you sell for 104% to get the bonus, but that is 104k. Anywhere from 104k-104.9k with give you the pin bonus but you need to get the exact amount somewhere between 104k-104.9k to get the perfect exp bonus.

Also reputation affects the bonus: People give the pin-bonus at bonus at 100%. At maxed reputation they give the bonus at 104%. Also your reputation with people affects their maximum budget they are willing to spend.

When selling increased price items, aim within the 240-250% range.

When selling decreased price items, aim within the 50-60% range.

When buying increased price items, aim around 140%.

When buying decreased price items, aim within the 30-40% range.

*In these columns, the percentage is the average max profit value, while the numbers in parentheses are the range of values observed. For example, sometimes you won't be able to go higher than 126% with the Man, and some other times, you'll be able to go up to 134% with the same Man. When there's nothing in parentheses, I didn't have enough data.
